Victory House retained the Primary Sports Day Cup in a keenly contested Sports Day on Friday.

On a really hot afternoon, the children were split into three teams per House and took part in a rotation of 12 different activities to win points for their House.  The activities included the egg and spoon race, the foam javelin, the standing long jump and the beanbag throw.  All of the events were umpired and scored by our fantastic team of Year 10 Sports Leaders.

At the end of the afternoon, the final results were:
1st place:  Victory House 1713 points
2nd place: Discovery House 1678 points
3rd place: Endeavour House 1627 points
4th place: Intrepid House 1536 points

The photo shows the Sports Day Cup being awarded to Emily Stacey, Oliver Heath and Mrs Johnson from Victory House.

Thank you to all of the parents who came along to support the children and make this such a special day in our school calendar.  Thanks also go to Mrs Johnson for all of her hard work in planning and preparing the different activities.  We are already looking forward to next year's Sports Day!
