Over the 5th-6th July, all Year 11 geographers undertook the fieldwork investigation for their GCSE.
They took various measurements of the beach and sea defences in Christchurch Bay to assess whether the sea defences are working.
In the afternoon they did several surveys at Whiteley Village to judge whether Whiteley is typical of out of town shopping centres.
The sun was out on both days and there was some high quality work that will go a long way to securing good grades in the exams next year.
