The Wilkie Scholarship is open to any pupil in Year 11 and provides two fully funded scholarships for pupils to attend the Sixth Form at The Portsmouth Grammar School. Any Year 11 child interested in applying for the 2017 scholarship should write a letter to the Headteacher of Mayfield School, Mr Jeapes, outlining:
- Their significant achievements to date;
- How a place at The Portsmouth Grammar School will support their future ambitions;
- Why they are the best person for the scholarship.
Letters should be no more than 500 words and returned by Friday 23rd September 2016 to Mrs Lynne Hollis, PA to the Headteacher.
