Primary Sports Day

The Primary Section Sports Day took place on Friday afternoon. The children competed for their Houses in events like the long jump, sprinting races and the egg and spoon race. The results have now been calculated and Discovery were crowned as the Sports Day champions in Assembly this afternoon. The picture shows Ellie-Mae King, Ollie Moore and Miss Webb with the Sports Day trophy. This is the first time that Discovery have triumphed in this event which has been won by Victory in the previous two years.

The final order was:

1st Discovery
2nd Victory
3rd Endeavour
4th Intrepid

The winning House in each year group was:

Year R – Discovery
Year 1 – Victory
Year 2 – Victory
Year 3 – Discovery

Well done to all of the children for trying so hard in the Sports Day on such a hot day. Thank you to all of the parents and families who came to support the event – you helped to make it a really special day!
