Mayfield school hosted the Portsmouth Festivities Play in a Day event for the second time on Thursday evening. Pupils from across the city took part in the devising challenge to create a play based on the theme of freedom in their 6 hour workshop ready to perform for the audience in the evening. The Mayfield school year 8 pupils showed real dedication in creating a fantastic piece about breaking free from their greatest fears, with the guidance of some of our year 10 performing arts committee. It was a dynamic and acrobatic performance. Thank you to all pupils involved.
