J ‘adore candles

We are very proud of the team and all their efforts. Lilly Cownie has been kind enough to do a brief write up on the team’s experience.

For the last 6 -9 months our group, J ’adore candles, have been participating in the national Faith and Football social and enterprise challenge. On Wednesday we travelled to Fratton Park where we would find out who had won. We were all very nervous but exited. We were ecstatic when we found out we were in the top 5, only then to hear our names being read out as the winners!! We couldn’t believe it, we had won a national competition and the amazing prize of a trip to India! Hearing our names read out was a unforgettable feeling, after all the hard work we had put in. We can’t wait for the once in a lifetime trip to India in December! We look forward to sharing our experience with you, as well as supporting next year’s groups.
