On Wednesday 13th June, Emilia Loake, Mallory Baker, Olivia East, Ruby Ingle, Keiran Donnerlly, Liam Rogers, Pawel Zimoch, Lilly Kirven and Emma Boddy were invited to attend the Portsmouth Book Awards at Action Stations in the Dockyard for the announcement of this winning author.
Over the past year, pupils have been reading all of the nominated books and have been discussing and voting, along with other schools, to decide who would be the winning author this year, which was Cathy Macphail for her novel 'Between The Lies'.
A special 'WELL DONE' must be made for Emilia Loake who won the Portsmouth Book Awards art competition for designing a book cover.
Also, many thanks to Mr Dyer and Mrs Vicary for driving us all to and from the venue.
