Mayor Making
Mayfield School had the opportunity to be invited to the Mayor Making Ceremony at the Guildhall on Tuesday 16th May. Not only did some senior pupils attend; the infant school council came too! They really enjoyed getting to see the new and old Mayor's outfits and hats! The Army and Navy were there too and we got to see how they shout commands and march. We also listened to choirs from the retired police force and from Portsmouth Junior High School; they were both fantastic.
The children were great representatives of the school and did us proud with perfect behaviour and manners, well done!
