On Thursday 20th October 2016, Discovery House tutor groups hosted stalls to raise money for The British Red Cross. All the tutors voted for a charity they wished to support and majority voted The British Red Cross. This charity helps to aid anyone in crisis; the most imminent being the refugee crisis.

We had a range of different stalls running during both breaks and lunch. From penalty shootouts to teachers being pied in the face, there was truly something for everyone. Discovery house raised a whopping total of £275.57! This shows the dedication and support from everyone involved.

We also voted in our assembly last week that £50 of our total should go to the Rocky Appeal as two students in the House had asked that a donation be made as they had parents who recently undergone surgery at QA Hospital.
