Accelerated Reader Millionaire's Party

Mayfield's annual Accelerated Reader Millionaire's Party took place in the Library Quad on Monday 4th July with a Harry Potter theme. Nearly 50 pupils were invited to attend as they had achieved the high accolade of reading over one million words in our Accelerated Reader scheme.

With Ellie McGillivray playing the piano, all of the pupils enjoyed the celebration and sampled many of the snacks all washed down with magical potions before tucking into the special house cakes that were cut by the party's special guest, Mr Jeapes.

Also, a special thank you to Pupil Librarians Ruth Housley, Alison Skinner, Kayleigh Boulton and Olivia Marshall along with Mr Tite and Mr Billy Woodhead for their help to ensure the celebration was a success.
