Year 10 Interview Day and Mock Interview

Over the last half term in their CPR lessons, Year 10 have been working on a Careers Unit. This has been followed up with a whole school day off timetable covering various interview skills. This day included sessions on ‘all about me’, ‘demystifying interviews’, ‘skills and attributes’. There was then a group interview task and a CV workshop. Pupils then had their CPR lesson to develop and produce their CV. Last week this process was followed up by an individual mock interview.

The mock interview’s all took place in partnership with EBP who provided nine different employers. All pupils represented the school in a very positive manner and were professional, reflective and confident. There has been some outstanding feedback and there have been 48 pupils selected for a Certificate of Excellence which will be awarded in the celebration assembly.

Pupils will be receiving their individualised feedback this week in tutor time along with their CV’s.
